Biography

Erlyn Rachelle Macarayan, PhD, MS, RN is an adjunct assistant professor in Health Services, Policy, and Practice at Brown University’s School of Public Health. With extensive experience in public health and health data science, she has worked as an advisor and consultant for international organizations and industries. As an esteemed public health researcher, she leads multi-collaborative, multi-sectoral global research projects funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization. Prior to her role at Brown, she served as an advisor in data science at CVS Health Corporation, and was a research scientist at Harvard University’s School of Public Health, following her postdoctoral research. She holds a master's degree and PhD in public health and is trained as a cardiovascular and renal nurse.
