Biography

Professor Metzger joined the School of Law at the University of Glasgow in autumn 2006, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role as Professor of Civil Comparative Law at the University of Aberdeen. His ongoing work includes the preparation of the 'Introduction to Roman Civil Procedure' for Oxford University Press. Prof. Metzger has been recognized with numerous awards and grants, totaling significant funding for his research and conferences in legal history.
