Esperanza Díaz M.D. attended Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia, and completed her Psychiatry residency training at Yale. She graduated from the Western New England Institute of Psychoanalysis. As the medical director of the Hispanic Clinic, she focuses on expanding community mental health services for populations with limited English proficiency. Dr. Diaz founded the Hispanic Psychiatry Fellowship to address mental health disparities among Latinos and has developed a Cultural Psychiatry curriculum.
