Dr. Esraa Abdelhalim

Biography

Esraa Abdelhalim is an Assistant Professor in the field of Management Science at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. She holds a Ph.D. in Data Analytics from McMaster University, which she completed in 2023. Esraa's academic foundation is established on a robust educational background with a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Alexandria University, Egypt, obtained in 2015, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field in 2009. Her research interests focus on Algorithms, cognitive agents, Human-AI collaboration, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning algorithms, emphasizing innovative applications of technology in business contexts. Esraa has achieved professional certifications in Data Science and Big Data Analytics, further enhancing her expertise. Notably, she is a Certified Academic Associate from Dell EMC and has been recognized as a Certified Mentor by the Mentoring Standard Foundation in San Jose, California. Her published work includes studies on diversity, equity, and inclusion safeguards in chatbots and the efficient use of learning spaces through innovative timetabling solutions. Through her teaching and research, Esraa is dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of technology in business management.
