Dr. Estelle Sun

Biography

Estelle Yuan Sun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Boston University Questrom School of Business. She obtained her Ph.D. in Accounting and MS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting with first-class honors from the University of Otago in New Zealand. Her research focuses on topics such as corporate social responsibility, earnings management, the use of financial information by investors, accounting conservatism, disclosure practices, and analyst research. She actively contributes to the academic community through her research and teaching in accounting.
