Ethan Molitch-Hou, MD MPH SFHM, is an academic hospitalist specializing in the care of hospitalized patients. He earned his MD and MPH from Northwestern University and completed his Internal Medicine training at the University of Chicago. Prior to returning to the University of Chicago in January 2020, he worked as a primary care physician and community hospitalist. Dr. Molitch-Hou served as the lead hospitalist for COVID care in the COVID unit during the early stages of the pandemic. He currently directs the Hospital Medicine Sub-Internship rotation and serves as core faculty in the Internal Medicine Residency program. Additionally, he is the co-medical director of the Care Transitions Clinic.
