Biography

Eugene Kushnirsky received his PhD from the University of Michigan in 1999. He held a postdoctoral position at Indiana University before joining the faculty at Northwestern University in 2002. His research interests focus on algebraic groups over local and global fields, as well as automorphic forms. In 2018, he was honored with the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Teaching Award in recognition of his contributions to teaching and mentorship.
