Biography

Professor da Conceição-Heldt’s research interests include delegation power in international organizations, European integration, global economic governance, two-level games, negotiation analysis, and accountability in the digital age, particularly in relation to disruptions caused by technology. She received her PhD in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and completed her Habilitation at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From March 2012 to June 2016, she held the Chair in International Politics at TU Dresden. Her academic appointments include guest professorships at FU Berlin and an assistant professorship at HU Berlin. She has held fellowships at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University, the European University Institute in Florence, and the Social Science Research Center in Berlin. From 2016 to 2021, she served as the reform rector of Hochschule für Politik München, where she was also the founding dean of the TUM School of Governance. She is a prolific author with 35 peer-reviewed journal articles and has contributed to four monographs, edited special issues of peer-reviewed journals, and book chapters.
