Biography

Eujin Park is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Education, Stanford University. His research focuses on critical theories of racialization and Asian American Studies, utilizing community engaged research to explore how Asian American families navigate race within educational institutions. He has conducted ethnographic investigations in community-based educational spaces within the Chicago-area Asian American community, which highlighted the role of community spaces in shaping youths’ educational experiences amid racializing discourses. In addition to publishing and presenting his work in various academic forums, Park collaborates with Asian American youth and community-based organizations. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a concentration in Social Sciences and a minor in Qualitative Methods. He also holds an M.A. from the same university and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining the faculty at Stanford, he was an IDEAL Provostial Fellow and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
