Dr. Eun Hwang

Biography

Eun Bit Hwang, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in Management & Organizations at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and serves on the Faculty Advisory Board of the Center for Positive Organizations. Her research explores how organization members can transcend objectifying exchange relationships to foster genuine human encounters in the workplace. Eun Bit advocates for a re-evaluation of how we think about human existence and relationality within work contexts, primarily employing qualitative research methods. Her scholarship has been recognized with the University of Michigan's CEW+ Scholar award, reflecting her potential to make a meaningful impact in local and global communities. As a dedicated educator, she currently teaches 'Business & Leaders: Positive Difference', a core course for sophomores in the BBA program, and has previously taught 'Behavioral Theory Management', a core course for juniors.
