Dr. Eva Cantoni

Biography

Eva Cantoni is a Full Professor at the University of Geneva, where she holds a prominent position in the Faculty of Economics and Management. Her research primarily focuses on robust statistics, model selection techniques, nonparametric regression, and mixed models to handle data with excess zeros. She has directed the Master's program in statistics from 2012 to 2019 and a complementary certificate in applied statistics from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, she served as the Vice-Dean of Teaching from August 2020 to January 2023, demonstrating her commitment to academic leadership. Throughout her career, she has contributed extensively to the literature and has collaborated with scientists across various fields, particularly in ecological applications of statistical methods.
