Biography

Associate Professor Eva Storskrubb holds an LL.L degree from the University of Helsinki and a Ph.D. from the European University Institute in Florence. She defended her thesis in 2006, published by Oxford University Press in 2008, titled 'Civil Procedure EU Law - Policy Area Uncovered'. From 2014 to 2016, she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the faculty and a Marie Curie Fellow in law in Sweden, working on the project 'RECLAIM: Legitimacy Mutual Recognition Regulatory Strategy Policy Area Civil Justice EU'. Between 2016 and 2021, she participated part-time in a faculty research project titled 'European Account Preservation - Impact Legal Order?' funded by Ragnar Söderbergs Stiftelse. Before becoming a full-time lecturer in 2021, she worked as an attorney associate in law firms in Sweden, Finland, and England, specializing in commercial dispute resolution, and served as a trainee at the EU Court of Justice and the EU Commission. She teaches courses in procedural law and EU law, including advanced courses on EU Commercial Law and Arbitration, and supervises Master's thesis students in Investment Treaty Arbitration.
