Dr. Evelyn Ling

Biography

Evelyn Ling, M.D., M.S. is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University, focusing on internal medicine and hospital medicine. She completed her M.D. and internal medicine residency at the University of California at Davis in 2017, where she also earned her B.S. in biomedical computation and M.S. in Management Science and Engineering. Dr. Ling has extensive experience in quality improvement projects, medical education, and health care technology, particularly in remote diabetes management. She serves as the Medical Director of Research at Stanford Healthcare ValleyCare and is actively involved in clinical trials related to COVID-19 therapeutics for hospitalized patients. Her current research interests include the Adaptive COVID Treatment Trial (ACTT) aimed at evaluating the efficacy of novel therapeutic agents for COVID-19. She has also been involved in the medical education of physician assistant students, specifically as a site co-director for the Practice Medicine course. Dr. Ling is passionate about serving her community in the East Bay and continues to focus her professional efforts on enhancing clinical care through research and education.
