Biography

Evgeny Rebrov is a full professor in Energy Intensified Chemical Reaction Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He obtained his PhD in Chemistry (cum laude) from the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1999, and earned his DSc in Chemical Engineering from Lomonosov Moscow University of Fine Chemical Technology in 2012. Rebrov's interests include optimizing reactor internals to maximize process selectivity and heat transfer rates. He is involved in projects that aim to reduce manufacturing costs for vitamins and agricultural chemicals by 20-60%. With more than 170 peer-reviewed publications over his 20-year career, he has worked with various industrial companies, and has received multiple prestigious EU grants for his research.
