Biography

Ewan Goligher, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology at the University of Toronto, with a cross-appointment in the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine. His research primarily focuses on respiratory muscle function, mechanical ventilation, and the management of acute respiratory failure. Goligher's work investigates the mechanisms of lung diaphragm injury, as well as how various ventilation strategies can improve clinical outcomes in critically ill patients.
