Eytan Adar is a Professor in the School of Information at the University of Michigan and also holds a professorship in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science within the College of Engineering. His research focuses on temporal informatics, which investigates how information and consumption patterns evolve over time on the Internet. He employs various techniques in his work, including text log mining, visualizations, and social network analysis, leveraging large-scale data to gain insights into dynamic information systems.
