Ezra Getzler received his PhD from Harvard University in 1986. He was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and served as a faculty member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined the faculty at Northwestern University in 1997. Getzler's research focuses on mathematical physics, particularly relations between quantum field theory, topology, and geometry. He has been awarded the Alfred P.
