Biography

Fabian Braesemann is a Departmental Research Lecturer at the Oxford Internet Institute, with an association as a faculty member at the Complexity Science Hub. He is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of DWG Data Science Company. He organizes scientific entrepreneurship workshops in partnership with research institutions and startup incubators, facilitating the transformation of research into scientific spin-out companies and promoting innovation in social and economic sciences. He is passionate about understanding complex systems and believes that this knowledge is critical in addressing the complex challenges humanity faces. Fabian actively engages with policymakers, industry representatives, and the public through articles and presentations at various events. He studied economics in Berlin, Warsaw, and Vienna, and holds a doctoral degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
