Biography

Fabiana Crowley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Western University. Her academic journey began in pharmacy school, where she discovered her passion for teaching and research. After completing her BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. in Biochemical and Molecular Pharmacology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, she pursued a postdoctoral fellowship focusing on neuroscience at Western University. Fabiana is dedicated to developing core competencies in pharmacology education and aims to create engaging learning experiences for her students in both undergraduate and graduate courses. She has actively contributed to educational development through various teaching roles and training workshops, and her research interests include exploring frameworks that enhance prescribing competencies and adaptive expertise. Throughout her career, Fabiana has been recognized with numerous awards for her excellence in teaching and contributions to medical education. Outside of academia, she enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in activities such as skating and dance lessons with her daughters.
