Dr. Fabiana Lorencatto

Biography

Fabiana Lorencatto is a Professor of Behavioural Implementation Sciences at University College London and Co-Director of the Centre for Behaviour Change. She is a behavioural implementation scientist whose research focuses on the application of behavioural science theories, frameworks, and methods to identify individual, socio-cultural, and environmental factors influencing behavior. Her work entails designing theory-and evidence-based behaviour change interventions, particularly in the context of healthcare provider behavior change, healthcare quality improvement, and environmental sustainability. Fabiana possesses methodological expertise in process evaluations of complex interventions and is particularly skilled in assessing intervention fidelity. She leads formative research in behavioural science and oversees various work packages on multidisciplinary research topics, including antimicrobial resistance and medication adherence. Fabiana has a PhD in Health Psychology from University College London and has served as Associate Editor for Implementation Science Communications. She also teaches BSc and MSc courses and supervises post-graduate doctoral students across diverse backgrounds.
