Biography

Fabio Trojani is a Full Professor at the University of Geneva in the Finance area since September 2015 and holds the Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute. He obtained his PhD in Econometrics and Finance from the University of Zurich. His previous roles include Full Professor of Statistics at the University of Lugano and Full Professor of Finance at the University of St. Gallen, along with serving as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Bocconi University in Milan. Trojani's research interests encompass Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, with numerous publications in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, Management Science, and the Journal of Econometrics. He is actively engaged in the academic community as the director of the SFI PhD program at the University of Geneva, and serves as an editor for the Journal of Financial Econometrics. Throughout his career, Trojani has contributed significantly to the field by presenting at international conferences and is known for his comprehensive approach to empirical asset pricing.
