Dr. Fabrizio Caola

Biography

Fabrizio Caola is a physicist at the University of Oxford specializing in theoretical particle physics, with an emphasis on strong interactions and collider phenomenology. He completed his PhD at the University of Milan in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Forte. His academic career includes postdoctoral positions at Johns Hopkins University and as a CERN Fellow. He moved to Durham University to work as an assistant professor at the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology. Caola has also spent time at Fermilab as a Fulbright Visiting Research Fellow and has contributed as a visiting scientist at the Institute for Theoretical Particle Physics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. His current research interests focus on developing quantum field theory techniques essential for obtaining high precision predictions of key collider processes, with particular relevance to state-of-the-art phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider.
