Biography

Faezeh Ensan received her B.Sc. degree from the University of Tehran, Iran in 2004, her M.Sc. degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 2006, and her Ph.D. degree from the University of New Brunswick, Canada in 2011. She has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of New Brunswick and the University of British Columbia, where she was funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and Mitacs for several research projects with industrial partners, including an NSERC Industrial R&D Fellowship. She joined Toronto Metropolitan University in August 2019. Her research interests include Information Retrieval, Knowledge Engineering, Semantics, Applications of Data Science, and Software Engineering.
