Biography

Faiza Abbas joined the School of Business Administration in Spring 2017. She earned a postgraduate degree in Labor Employment Relations from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Before joining Penn State Harrisburg, she taught at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations for several years and worked with the Eagleton Institute of Politics in their Program on Immigration and Democracy, conducting research on the impact of immigrant-led business organizations on society. Her areas of interest include Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business and Society, and Management Labor Relations. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed Management and Social Sciences journals. Currently, she serves as a co-advisor for the SHRM student chapter at Penn State Harrisburg and is the outreach coordinator for the School of Business Administration.
