Biography

Fan Yang leads Google’s networking protocol team as an Adjunct Faculty at Boston University. He spearheaded Google’s industry-first internet-scale deployment of HTTP/3 (HTTP QUIC), which significantly contributed to optimizing flow traffic on the modern internet and greatly reduced latency for Google products and services. Prior to joining Google, Fan Yang received his PhD in 2015 from the University of Delaware, where he worked in Professor Paul D. Amer’s Protocol Engineering Lab.
