Biography

Fani Boukouvala is an Associate Professor and Glenn T. Wright Faculty Fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her expertise includes algorithmic developments, data-driven modeling, optimization, and Big Data approaches aimed at energy efficiency. Dr. Boukouvala's work emphasizes simulation-based optimization and CO2 sequestration, focusing on the roles of computer simulations in modern scientific discovery.
