Farah Mohammadi received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunication engineering from Iran University of Science & Technology in 1988 and 1991, respectively. She earned her Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the Institute d'Electronique et Microelectronique du Nord (IEMN), University of Science and Technology of Lille (USTL), France, in 1998. Dr. Mohammadi began her academic career as a lecturer at the Iran University of Science & Technology from 1992 to 1993. From 2000 to 2002, she worked at Nortel Networks Laboratories in Ottawa as a Senior System Architect in the Fiberoptic Laboratory. Since 2003, she has been a faculty member at the Toronto Metropolitan University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, progressing to the rank of Associate Professor. Her research interests focus on the development of electro-thermal test simulation tools for integrated circuits, design methodologies for RF/microwave components, and applied electromagnetics, including the modeling of interconnects and packaging effects in high-speed circuits.
