Dr. Farheen Naqvi

Biography

Farheen Naqvi is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University. She holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the University of Cologne, Germany, obtained in 2011. She also completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics from Delhi University, India, in 2007 and 2005, respectively. As a Faculty Fellow at the Center for Nuclear Security Science and Policy Initiatives, she is involved in research and educational initiatives that address global nuclear security challenges. Her expertise lies in areas related to nuclear engineering and security science, where she focuses on the interplay of technology, policy, and education to foster a robust nuclear security environment. Dr. Naqvi has been recognized for her contributions to the field through various affiliations and projects, contributing significantly to the academic community and the betterment of nuclear security measures globally.
