Biography

Faruque Hasan is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University and is the Margaret ’85 Graham Bacon ’85 Engineering Excellence Professor as well as the Associate Director of the Texas A&M Energy Institute. His work focuses on the development of application-oriented theories and computational tools to solve complex multi-scale systems, enhancing industrial decarbonization efforts, CO2 capture and utilization, and circular economies. Professor Hasan's innovative approaches combine energy efficiency with economic feasibility, reinforcing his recognition in the academic community.
