Biography

Farzin Golzar works as an Assistant Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the Heat Power Technology Division. Prior to joining KTH, Golzar worked as a climate energy strategy advisor for Swedish international clients in sectors such as buildings, transportation, and agriculture. He has post-doctoral experience in the Energy System Division at KTH, collaborating with the KTH Water Center to ensure sustainability and equality in water-energy systems through actor-driven disruptive innovation. Golzar holds a Ph.D. in Energy Systems Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where he focused on the techno-economic and environmental optimization of energy supply systems. He also holds an MSc in optimal design of high-temperature fuel cells for stationary applications and a BSc in Phase Change Materials as a Chemical Engineer.
