Fatemeh Farnia is a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Engineering, specifically within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She serves as the Centre Manager at the AI Centre for Decision Analytics, where she leads operations and strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the adoption of artificial intelligence in public decision-making. With a decade of experience in AI leadership, Fatemeh excels in aligning interdisciplinary research with real-world applications and fostering strong partnerships among academia, industry, and government. She oversees complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to delivery and is recognized for her ability to design and implement solutions to operational challenges.
