Biography

A. Fatih Sarioglu received his B.Sc. degree from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey in 2003, followed by M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University in 2005 and 2010, respectively, specializing in Electrical Engineering. Following his education, Sarioglu engaged in postdoctoral research as an associate at the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering at Stanford University from 2010 to 2012. He then served as a research fellow at the Center for Engineering in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, from 2012 to 2014. In October 2014, he joined the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology as an assistant professor. His research primarily focuses on interface nano-/micro-engineering in biomedicine, developing N/MEMS-based technologies for biomedical applications, which include nano-micro-systems, bio-molecular sensing, imaging, microfluidic devices, and high-throughput bio-analytical instrumentation for disease detection and diagnostics.
