Biography

Fatima Alshbool is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel School of Pharmacy. She holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Loma Linda University and a PharmD from Jordan University of Science & Technology. Her research focuses on the impact of e-cigarettes on platelet function and thrombogenesis, including the structural biology of platelet G-protein coupled receptors and the role of guanine exchange factor (ArhGEF1) in platelet regulation. In addition to research, she is actively involved in teaching principles of drug action, cardiovascular pharmacology, and pharmacogenomics.
