Fatma Tarlaci is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, where she holds a Ph.D. and has received the Outstanding Dissertation Award. She has a robust educational background and excels in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Her practical industry experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Scientist at OpenTeams and a Data Scientist at Quansight, as well as a research position at OpenAI. Fatma's teaching career has spanned institutions like St. Edward's University and Stanford University, reflecting her strong commitment to computer science education and inclusive teaching practices. Her research interests include Natural Language Understanding and Large Language Models, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Learning Technologies, with a focus on the societal impact of Artificial Intelligence.
