Biography

Felix Naef studied theoretical physics at ETH Zurich and obtained his PhD from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2000. He received postdoctoral training at the Center for Studies in Physics and Biology at Rockefeller University in New York City under the guidance of Professor Magnasco. His research focuses on modeling and interpretation of high-throughput functional data in the study of biomolecular oscillators. He joined the Institute of Cellular Biology as an associate scientist in early 2004 and is currently a Full Professor at the Institute of Bioengineering (IBI) at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
