Felix researches and teaches European Union Law, with particular interests in European Contract Law, Comparative Law, and Empirical Legal Research. At Oxford, he teaches EU Law, Contract Law, and Tort. He co-convenes the Empirical Legal Studies Discussion Group since 2017 and previously co-convened the EU Law Discussion Group from 2018 to 2020. Felix has served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Luxembourg and has held several lectureships at colleges including Queen's College and Somerville College, where he covered sabbatical leave for Professor Julie Dickson, as well as Mansfield College and a Stipendiary Lectureship at St Peter's College, covering maternity research leave for Dr. Dorota Leczykiewicz. He has guest lectured on Law and Technology in the M2/LL.M. program at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and worked as a research assistant for Dr. Geneviève Helleringer and Professor Horst Eidenmüller. He is also an associate editor for the Oxford Business Law Blog and has been a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative International Private Law. Felix completed his law degree at the undergraduate level at the Universities of Maastricht and Glasgow and graduated at the postgraduate level from Brasenose College, Oxford.
