Biography

Femke van Horen is a Full Professor of Consumer Behavior in the Marketing Department at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She completed her PhD at Tilburg University and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Social Cognition Lab of the University of Cologne. She has received multiple awards for her research, including the American Marketing Association Research Practice Award in 2019 and the IJRM Outstanding Reviewer Award in 2023. Femke has served as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Research in Marketing and has been actively involved in organizing academic conferences, demonstrating her commitment to advancing research in consumer behavior.
