Dr. Feng Chen

Biography

Feng Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga, with cross-appointment at the Rotman School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting from Columbia Business School in 2008. His research interests are centered on corporate disclosure, financial reporting, auditing, corporate governance, and international accounting. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, and Accounting Review, and his research has garnered citations from the International Accounting Standards Board. In addition to his research, Professor Chen has extensive teaching experience in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and financial statement analysis at institutions including Columbia University, Rutgers University, the University of Missouri, and the University of Toronto.
