Biography

Feng Qian is an associate professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California. His research interests encompass a wide range of areas including intelligent mobile systems, such as 5G technologies, as well as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality systems. He specializes in cross-layer system design and analysis, application and transport layer protocols, real-world system measurement, and system security. With a Ph.D. obtained from the University of Michigan, he also holds a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he graduated from the ACM Honors Class. Under his academic career, Dr. Qian has contributed extensively to the field of electrical and computer engineering through research, publications, and various accolades.
