Biography

Fengqi You is the Roxanne E. Michael J. Zak Professor of Energy Systems Engineering at Cornell University and serves as Chair of Ph.D. Studies in Systems Engineering. He is an award-winning scholar with multiple accolades, including the NSF CAREER Award and several honors from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). His interdisciplinary research group focuses on developing advanced computational models, optimization algorithms, and statistical machine learning methods applicable to sustainability and energy systems. He aims to balance theoretical development with practical applications, addressing key issues in decarbonization and sustainable engineering design.
