Dr. Fereshteh Baygi

Biography

Fereshteh Baygi is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the University of Southern Denmark. She holds a PhD in Health Promotion and Health Education, specializing in intervention studies focusing on nutrition management for Iranian seafarers. Her research interests encompass non-communicable diseases (NCDs), childhood health, occupational health, and the mental health impacts of COVID-19. Over the years, she has contributed to various projects aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and behaviors, often utilizing frameworks provided by the World Health Organization. She has worked as a scientific researcher at multiple institutions, including the Endocrinology Metabolism Research Center and the Occupational Health Research Center in Iran. Throughout her career, Fereshteh has been actively involved in academic activities, including presenting at international conferences and participating in organization workshops. Her scholarly work aims to address pressing public health issues through both research and education in health promotion strategies. She has also supervised various academic courses and is engaged in continuous learning and teaching advancements in her field.
