Biography

Fiona Tang is a lecturer at Monash University, and her research focuses on understanding complex feedback loops in the hydrosphere, geosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and anthroposphere. She investigates the control of climate by anthropogenic activities and the fate and dynamics of nutrients and contaminants in agricultural soils. Fiona employs computational techniques to identify regions that are susceptible to climate and environmental change at regional, continental, and global scales. Tang holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Sydney, awarded in March 2017.
