Biography

Fiona Turner is a statistician focused on uncertainty quantification in climate systems. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Statistics from the University of Sheffield. In her role, she is building emulators for climate and ice sheet models to better understand and predict sea level contributions from the world’s ice sheets and glaciers. Fiona also participates in public engagement activities, sharing research insights at events like the Pint of Science festival.
