Biography

Florette Kimberly Hazard, M.D., serves as the Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UC Davis Health. With specialized training in Pediatric Pathology and board certifications in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Dr. Hazard is committed to providing the highest level of diagnostic services to patients and their families. A graduate from Princeton University with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Dr. Hazard received her M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Stanford University and pursued fellowships at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia and Stanford University in Surgical Pathology. Dr. Hazard’s work is characterized by the use of advanced technologies and personalized techniques in striving for scientific achievements and training the next generation of physicians and scientists.
