Biography

Florian Lichtin obtained his doctoral degree from ETH Zürich, projected for summer 2025. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam with a focus on Political Sciences and both mixed and quantitative methods. He also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Lucerne. In academia, Florian has experience working with environmental student/youth organizations. His main research interests lie in the field of environmental politics, specifically the inequalities that affect public acceptance of climate change mitigation policies and exploring ways compensation can increase support for such policies.
