Biography

Florian Martin-Bariteau is an internationally recognized thought leader in technology policy, actively engaged in shaping frameworks that safeguard rights and liberties in the digital context while working towards building a secure and inclusive society. He also serves as the Director of the AI + Society Initiative and the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society at the University of Ottawa. Acknowledged for his contributions to policy debates, he works on projects aimed at enhancing democratic processes in relation to AI and online harms, with a commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable technological advancements.
