Biography

Dr. Fouche Williams is an Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at Queen's University, specializing in Family Medicine and Hospital Medicine. He holds an MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria, obtained in 1989, and has completed internships in Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, General Surgery, and Anesthetics at Potchefstroom Hospital in South Africa. Dr. Williams further advanced his education by earning a BSc Honors in Pharmacology from Potchefstroom University in 1991. He also obtained a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care from the College of Medicine of South Africa in 1992 and certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2002, as well as completing the ECG examination with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan in 2001. Currently, he serves as a Staff Physician at the Providence Transitional Care Center (PTCC), contributing his expertise in Family Medicine. His roles also include involvement with local hospitalist programs such as the DFM Faculty Hospitalists and CSPC Kingston. With a commitment to patient care and education, Dr. Williams continues to influence the next generation of medical professionals through his academic work and clinical practice.
