Professor Dr. Francesca Rondina

Biography

Francesca Rondina is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa specializing in the fields of Time Series Econometrics, Macroeconometrics, and Monetary Economics. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2009, following a Master of Science in Economics in 2004. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor's in Economics and Business at LUISS ‘Guido Carli’ in Rome, Italy in 2001. Her research focuses on unobservable inflation expectations, the dynamics of the New Keynesian Phillips Curve, and the response of economic policy to fluctuations in oil prices. She has published several impactful papers in prominent economics journals and is actively involved in teaching econometrics at both introductory and advanced levels.
