Biography

Francesco Iannuzzo received his M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering and Ph.D. in Electronic Information Engineering from the University of Naples, Italy, in 1997 and 2001, respectively. He specializes in power device reliability and has been a pioneer in the research of electronic devices under extreme conditions. Dr. Iannuzzo's career includes a position as a Researcher at the University of Cassino and an Associate Professor role, eventually becoming a Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark, where he is part of the Center of Reliable Power Electronics. He has joined DENERG at Politecnico di Torino as Adjunct Professor in 2025. His research focuses on reliability in power devices, cosmic rays, failure modeling, and testing under conditions like overvoltage and overcurrent. He has authored over 300 publications and is a co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Elsevier's Power Electronic Devices and Components journal. He also actively participates in various IEEE societies and serves as an Associate Editor for Microelectronics Reliability.
