Dr. Francesco Rizzi

Biography

Francesco Rizzi is an architect who graduated in 2010 from the Academy of Architecture Mendrisio. Currently, he serves as a project manager at Laboratorio Ticino, an international research institute focused on territorial projects. He has worked there since 2012, specializing in territorial planning and development of master plan mandates for municipalities and local authorities. His responsibilities include communication and coordination among local authorities and technical offices at both municipal and cantonal levels, as well as the development of strategic plans and reports. He is also a co-author of 'Atlante Città Ticino Quaderni di cultura del territorio' published by Mendrisio Academy Press in 2012. Additionally, he has served as a teaching assistant at the Academy of Architecture, engaging in design ateliers and theoretical courses related to culture and territory, under the guidance of notable architects such as Michele Arnaboldi, Frédéric Bonnet, and Gianni Biondillo.
